This sort of popped up out of no where in my mind, so I decided to draw it out. I figured Maggie would want to put her friend/rival in his place to cool off from her public humiliation. I also wanted to show her change of emotions from being sensitive and saddened to being strong and protective of herself and not taking any nonsense from others. [She's kind of inspired by Helga from Hey Arnold, by Craig Bartlett, brother-in-law of Matt Groening by the way]

By the way, that ring Maggie has is a Ring Pop, a ring lollipop basically. I figure some of Maggie's favorite snacks would be things like Suckers, Baby Bottle Pops, Ring Pops, Jolly Ranchers, etc. It's my idea for her pacifier replacement at this age.
